Pet Mayor Responsibilities & Eligibility
The Pet Mayor serves as an ambassador of goodwill for Tippah County for two years and will make occasional public appearances throughout their term. Cats and dogs are welcome to run for this prestigious honor, however, the pet must be owned by a resident of Tippah County, MS. A business member of Ripley Main Street may also sponsor or endorse pets for the 2025 election.
Why a Pet Mayor Race?
Proceeds of this fundraiser will go towards downtown Main Street beautification and a portion will go Ru to The Rescue.
